We are looking for a motivated, passionate individual to join our team as the Communication and Outreach Specialist, likely starting early to mid-June. The Communication and Outreach Specialist (COS) is responsible for assisting the Executive Director with PCS's efforts to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships with federal, state, and local governments, the environmental community, and area citizens through communication and outreach, event promotion, media relations, and maintaining our websites and social media platforms. The COS will also lead the successful promotion and multi-media outreach of our established volunteer events, lead outreach at booths, fairs, and other non-traditional education opportunities, and work with media relations, grant writing, and fundraising efforts.
