4th Annual Water Quality Boat Cruise

Thanks to all our passengers and presenters for a fabulous 4th annual Water Quality Cruise!  Our six water quality expert presenters included: Jamie Kochensparger with Lucas Soil & Water Conservation District, Andrew McClure with the City of Toledo - Division of Water Treatment, Joe Cappel with Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, Dr. Tom Bridgeman with UT's Lake Erie Center, Cheryl Rice with Natural Resources Conservation Service Ohio, and Kris Patterson with Partners for Clean Streams.  Captain Paul led us on tour of the Mighty Maumee through downtown Toledo aboard the Sandpiper.  13abc and WTOL covered the event and captured the progress that has been made through partnerships with these presenters and more to improve water quality and ensure Toledoans are never again without clean, clear, and safe drinking water.
