Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

26th Annual Clean Your StreamsClick here to register for the 26th Annual Clean Your Streams!

For more than a quarter century, volunteers have come out to clean their rivers and contribute to citizen science by recording the trash they remove from our waterways. The marine debris data collected on Clean Your Streams Day helps inform local municipalities, state-level agencies, and national programs of the nature and scope of our volunteers' accomplishments.

Clean Your Streams Day is September 24, 2022, with in-person kickoffs beginning at 8am and clean-ups concluding around 11:30am.

If you're not available on September 24 and would like to participate on your own time, we're once again offering our remote kickoff registration option. Remote kickoff volunteers choose a time and location to clean-up between September 17 and September 24 and record the trash they remove using the Clean Swell app.

Both in-person and remote kickoff volunteers are encouraged to participate in our friendly-yet-competitive Clean Your Streams Challenges. You're also invited to attend our volunteer appreication picnic on September 24, where we celebrate everything we've accomplished during Clean Your Streams. Picnic details will be provided in your registration confirmation email.
