Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

What: Join us to celebrate Blue Week in the Oak Openings Region by Cleaning Your Streams! Make sure to bring shoes that can get wet and muddy and a reusable water bottle. PCS will provide all clean-up supplies like gloves, bags, and trash grabbers.

Where:
Meet at the Kitty Todd Nature Preserve Office at 10420 Old State Line Rd. in Swanton, OH.

Why: Blue Week is named for blue species in the Oak Openings that reveal themselves in Spring (e.g. bluebirds, blue-herons, blue-spotted salamanders, wild blue lupine, big bluestem grass), but most importantly Blue Week gives the public a chance to experience natural wonders of the Oak Openings Region firsthand.
