Even in the cold of winter, it’s still refreshing to step outside and enjoy some fresh air. One perfect way to do this is by exploring local parks. Take a walk through Woodlands Park with your camera in hand and you could be entered into a winter photo contest!
Currently on display at Woodlands Park are 13 captivating sculptures, strategically placed along the park’s perimeter and entrance. These public art pieces are beautiful to look at both day and night, as they also have lights to illuminate them after dark. Photographers of all skill levels are invited to submit their original photos that capture the charm of the sculptures against the backdrop of the winter landscape at the Perrysburg Sculpture Walk.
The winner will receive a $100 gift card for Kohne Camera & The Print Refinery. The winning photo will be featured in both digital and print media outlets. The top 10 images will also be showcased across social media and on the homepage of main ART-ery, the contest organizer and exhibit sponsor of the Perrysburg Sculpture Walk.
The deadline for submissions is February 28th. To enter, email up to three original photos to [email protected], with “PHOTO CONTEST” in the subject line. Be sure to include your name, email address, and any details you’d like to share about your photo. Winners and the top 10 finalists will be notified by March 7th.
