After a quieter season with Currents, Partners for Clean Streams is excited to pick up right where we left off to reconnect with the watershed community with new leadership and expanded outreach capacity. PCS recently welcomed a new executive director, along with a new communications, marketing and outreach specialist — both bringing fresh energy and a passion for PCS’ mission.
Partners for Cleans Streams is proud to welcome Todd Duvall as our new Executive Director.

As a native to Toledo and the Northwest Ohio area, Todd comes from years of experience in both the private and public sectors, from public safety and rescue on oceans and mountains to building design and construction management in architecture. Todd earned his BS from Bowling Green State University in architecture where he developed a strong technical foundation that complements his passion for communication and community development.
Outside of work, Todd has long held a deep appreciation for the region’s aquatic environments and finds any excuse he can to explore the outdoors with his wife and two kids.
As Executive Director, Todd will lead our efforts to create and strengthen long-lasting connections that bring people together, strengthen partnerships, and increase the impact of water stewardship throughout our area.
PCS is also excited to welcome Communications, Marketing, and Outreach Specialist Ava Kauffman!

Native to Toledo, Ohio, Ava recently graduated from Bowling Green State University, where she studied communications and media production. Throughout her academic and professional experiences, she discovered a strong passion for strategic communication, advocacy, and understanding how interpersonal communication shapes relationships, communities, and social change.
Currently residing in Bowling Green, Ava enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with friends and family — often hammocking near the Maumee River or exploring new places together.
Ava is committed to strengthening her passion for using communication as a tool for connection, education, and meaningful impact while helping advance PCS’ mission of protecting our waterways, engaging the community, and inspiring environmental stewardship throughout the region.
As PCS enters this new chapter, we are ecstatic by the opportunities ahead and grateful for the continuous support from our community. With Todd and Ava joining the team, Partners for Clean Streams looks forward to strengthening connections and continuing our mission to protect and enhance sustainability of our environment for future generations.
