Currents July 2017

Did you know that the Great Lakes are the biggest freshwater source in the world? Lake Erie is the most productive for fishing of all the Great Lakes. Your support helps make our streams clean, clear and healthy so they can support this complex ecosystem. By donating to PCS, you help us reach our goals of restoring rivers that lead to Lake Erie beaches that promote fishable and swimmable conditions for generations.

CYS21currentsRegistration for the 21st annual Clean Your Streams Day is right around the corner. It will open around August 1st and will stay open until September 18th. Clean Your Streams Day is September 23rd this year. Partners for Clean Streams would love to have your help and the help of your family, friends, and co-workers in keeping our waterways clean, clear and free of debris. Last year our amazing group of almost 1,000 volunteers collected over 26,000 pounds of trash! Help PCS remove another massive amount of debris from our local waterways and raise awareness about the growing issue of marine debris not only in our local community but globally! This is your chance to be part of a growing movement that is focused on protecting one of the most vital resources on the planet, clean water.
