If you haven’t already registered for the 43rd Mercy Health Glass City Marathon – you’re running out of time! You can sign up to run for the Green Team this year and as a thank-you, Partners for Clean Streams is offering a limited amount of race comps for the registration fee for any race (full, half, relay). If you have already registered, but want to show your support for our sustainability mission at the marathon, you can create a race fundraiser that directly goes to our organization. We use these funds to support our water quality improvement programs and protect the streams and rivers that the runners cross during the marathon. If you want to be involved in the marathon without committing to running 26.2 miles, consider volunteering with PCS as the “Green Team.” We will be recycling thousands of pounds of materials as we strive to make the marathon as sustainable as possible. This is a great way for groups looking for service hours to make a huge impact during Earth month. Or, cheer on your Glass City Marathon runner as you race to recycle as much as possible!
